The VTM-4 system is designed to automatically engage and disengage based on the driving conditions, optimizing traction and stability.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Automatic Function: The VTM-4 system activates when it detects low traction conditions, such as slippery roads, helping to maintain stability and control.
- Continuous Illumination: If the VTM-4 light remains on under normal driving conditions, it’s possible that the VTM-4 LOCK might have been engaged accidentally. This setting should only be used in specific situations, like low-speed traction scenarios.
- Turning Off the VTM-4 LOCK: To disengage this mode, safely pull over and shift your vehicle into park. Turn off the engine, and then restart your car. Shifting into drive should see the light turn off after a few moments.
